Premiere of "Je To Tak" with Prague Philharmonia

My work Je To Tak for orchestra and electronics will be premiered by Prague Philharmonia on May 22 2026.

Je To Tak represents the culmination of my research into the memory and emotional patterns of music listeners during the course of my PhD studies at the Academy of Performing Arts Prague. The piece grapples with a collection of distinct sound situations, alternating between juxtaposed and enmeshed events which are directly influenced by the data collected from psychoacoustic experiments and previous experimental compositions.

No matter the extreme depth of diversity amongst our experiences, concert schemas and life situations we are all connected physiologically by the way we listen to and process music.
